I like games, then arts and crafts, Tai Chi and role playing. With playing games, I learned to be attentive. I noticed some changes in my life because of Buddha’s teachings. (TOP)

I wish to continue learning martial arts for my body, and meditation for my mind, so that I can have the best of health. (TOP)
Francesca Togonon (13 y/o)
Tai chi is my favorite activity because it is not only calming but also physical. I really had a hard time with exams, but after concentrating, I am calmer. With meditation, I don’t get mad easily. (TOP)
Franz Dacanay (12 y/o)
To be compassionate, we learned how to love animals, take care of them and not to kill a bug. I do meditation when I feel very stressed. It really helps! (TOP)

Drawing is one of the activities in the Bodhi Star class that truly allows me to express my feelings. (TOP)
John Angel Flores (13 y/o)
During meditation, I learned to concentrate. Empty your mind of bad things: rudeness, being bad and greedy—we don't need these things. (TOP)
Lance Ty (11 y/o)
Since we have studied the Four Tenets, I have reduced eating meat. I became friendlier, too. I also think about the people in my school who are getting bullied and I feel sad for them. (TOP)
Marilyn Hipolito (11 y/o)
Storytelling is my favorite activity because I learn many things about the Buddha, how to act kindly and how to clear the mind. Because of this, I feel that I have become more giving. (TOP)
Michelle Sabalberino (11 y/o)
Kung Fu helps me develop intense focus that I can use in my studies and house chores. (TOP)
Nancy Santos (9 y/o)
Due to my diligence in Meditation, I think I have become more obedient to my parents and elders. It makes me feel so relaxed and refreshed. (TOP)
Raymund Pizarra (10 y/o)
I like Kung Fu very much because it is so much fun to move around and do the different karate-like positions. As a result, I have become more skilled with various activities involving a great deal of movements. (TOP)
Shuxin Chen (9 y/o)
The class is very nice because it teaches us about Buddhism: how to be wise and kind. I like to ask Shifus a lot of questions. Although sometimes I do not get them, I know that Shifus teach us helping people, respecting elders and being compassionate. My mother and I love to go there to study and try our best to help people. It guides us in our life. (TOP)
