Get Involved and Helping-out 出坡
Students are welcome to help out around the monastery. With the volume of people coming to Ocean Sky each week, there are many chores that need attention,like cleaning of Buddha statues, computer file encoding, doing art work, tidying up the premises, etc. In helping-out,volunteers apply the lessons on keeping the mind still while the body is in action, certainly a good opportunity to realize one’s true mind. While the monastery benefits from the volunteers’ help, the latter also get to reap tremendous blessings and merits themselves in their performance of good deeds.
